Admission Policy

Ross-Hill Academy is open to all students with State of Michigan residency, provided that space is available in the appropriate class.  At the conclusion of the school's enrollment period each spring, should the number of eligible applicants with completed applications exceed the number of vacancies, a public lottery will be held.  Continuing students and siblings of students currently enrolled have first priority, assuming the application process is complete.  In order to ensure continued enrollment at Ross-Hill, all applications must be complete and accurate.

Re-Enrollment/Sibling Enrollment

Current students will have first priority for continuing enrollment, provided that all necessary registration forms are complete and turned in.  This requires that:

  • All necessary forms, information and documentation have been accurately and fully completed within the priority period for re-enrollees;
  • Parents and students have met all provisions of the prior year's Student/Parent Contract, including volunteer hours; and
  • No monies are outstanding on the student's account with Ross-Hill or any of its vendors or service providers.

Presentation of an official birth certificate is required for each new enrollee.

Parents not completing the re-enrollment forms risk loosing their child's spot for the coming school year.  After the priority re-enrollment period concludes, additional space in classes will be offered to the general public.  Younger siblings of students already enrolled will have priority for available spaces.
